Lawsuit: Hospital Mistakenly Gave Newborn Morphine

Mission Hospital has already been fined $50,000 by California health officials for giving morphine to infant Taylee Blischke instead of her mother, who was being treated for Caesarean section pain after the April 2009 premature birth of triplets.
