Afghan governor says kidnapped Japan journalist freed

KUNDUZ, Afghanistan (Reuters) - A Japanese journalist kidnapped in Afghanistan in April has been freed, according to an Afghan provincial official who said on Sunday the journalist had been abducted by the Taliban.
