N.Irish UVF paramilitaries end armed campaign

BELFAST (Reuters) - The Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF), the most lethal of Northern Ireland's Protestant paramilitary groups, said on Thursday it would put its weapons beyond reach and that it would adopt a "non-military" role.
