UK to hand violent Afghan district to U.S. troops

LONDON (Reuters) - British troops will turn over responsibility for one of the deadliest districts in southern Afghanistan to Americans in a reconfiguration of NATO-led forces in the area, a newspaper website reported on Tuesday.
