UCLA's Walker picked as coach at N. Mexico St.

UCLA defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker has been hired as New Mexico State's new coach. Walker becomes the eighth black head coach at the 119 major college football schools, and third hired in the last month, along with Mike Locksley at New Mexico and Ron English at Eastern Michigan.
