Donyell Marshall Set to Join Sixers

In the PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS, Phil Jasner reports "the 76ers have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent forward Donyell Marshall on a minimum salary contract, the Daily News has learned. The Sixers have had interest in Marshall, 35, for many weeks, but bided their time while he remained under contract to Oklahoma City. When the franchise waived him in a buyout situation, the Sixers - in search of a perimeter shooter - made contact.Marshall, from Reading, Pa., was the No. 4 overall pick in the 1994 draft, selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has appeared in 932 games over his career, including 15 games with the then-SuperSonics and 11 with the Cavaliers. He has also logged time with the Golden State Warriors, the Utah Jazz and the Toronto Raptors.
