U.S. plans new financial sanctions on Sudan

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States is planning new sanctions against Sudan, including restrictions on companies that do business there in U.S. dollars, because of Khartoum's refusal to allow U.N. troops into Darfur, the U.S. special envoy to Sudan said on Wednesday.
