Next union leader would be wise to learn from Upshaw's legacy

Clark Judge can name some likely candidates, but he doesn't know who will be the next head of the NFL players union. But he knows who should be: Someone forceful who still understands the value of compromise. Somebody like Gene Upshaw, who died Wednesday at age 63.
