In the DETROIT FREE PRESS, Shannon Shelton reports, "the Shock recorded a perfect 10 on Wednesday afternoon at the Palace, defeating the Chicago Sky, 66-63, to win their 10th consecutive home game. The Shock (15-7) led the Sky by as many as 23 points midway through the second quarter, but a lay-up from Sky guard Armintie Price with 20.9 seconds remaining pulled Chicago within one, 64-63. Shock guard Alexis Hornbuckle answered, hitting a lay-up after a Cheryl Ford miss to put Detroit up by three with 18.8 remaining. I thought we played good team basketball in the first half,' Shock coach Bill Laimbeer said. Then we started to get selfish, started turning the ball over.
