Rather, the Warriors' vice president characterized the breakup between Golden State and its former franchise player as simply inevitable. ‘It was really just time for a change, and that's what happened,' Mullin said by phone from New York. ‘You forget, we've been talking for a while about different scenarios, everything under the sun.
