The Pacers struggled at the position after starter Jamaal Tinsley, whose career in Indiana is likely over, was injured. The pending trade with Toronto for point guard T.J. Ford addresses that need.Does that mean the Pacers are going big? Possibly.If so, Bird had glowing remarks about Georgetown's 7-2 center Roy Hibbert, whose defensive prowess would give the Pacers a shot-blocker.
