In the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER, Mary Schmitt Boyer writes "Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson underwent surgery to clean out loose cartilage and bone spurs in his left ankle Tuesday in Houston. But he is expected to start rehabilitation next week and be ready for training camp next fall. The surgery was p erformed by Dr. Thomas Clanton of the Roger Clemens Sports Institute at Memorial Hermann and was also attended by Cavaliers head team physician Dr. Richard Parker from The Cleveland Clinic."
