In the MEMPHIS COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Ronald Tillery writes "seeing devastating images of the tornado damage last month in Hickory Hill got Rudy Gay thinking about a most inspiring slam dunk. Simply put: The Grizzlies' swingman figured he could elevate his awareness and drop financial aid through the nets of despair in a community that sorely needs a score. The Grizzlies will ask fans to help Gay & Co. during their game Saturday with the Boston Celtics in FedExForum. The goal is to raise as much money as possible so that the Griz can present money to recovering Hickory Hill residents.”
