In the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER, Jodie Valade writes "the Cavaliers will hold their fourth annual Black Heritage Celebration at Wednesday's game against the Wizards, featuring a halftime ceremony honoring the following black sports legends: Lenny Wilkens: The former Cavaliers head coach has the most career coaching victories in NBA history, with a 1,332-1,155 record over 32 seasons, overall. Wilkens coached the Cavaliers from 1986-93, guiding Cleveland to the postseason five times. He remains the franchise leader in wins with 316. He also spent two years as a player for the Cavaliers (1972-74). Earl Lloyd: Became the first black player in the NBA when he played for the Washington Capitals on Oct. 31, 1950.
