In the MIAMI HERALD, Begone Cazalis writes "D.J. Strawberry has grown up with a well-known name and high expectations. He's known famous athletes since he was a kid. And he's seen what stardom can do to a person. Strawberry, son of former Major League Baseball player Darryl Strawberry, is the latest assignee from the NBA's Phoenix Suns to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League. The Suns are rotating Strawberry and fellow Phoenix rookie Alando Tucker in three-week intervals in Albuquerque so they can work on aspects of their games that need to be improved, and to stay conditioned since neither player was getting much playing time in the NBA."
