In THE NEW YORK TIMES, Howard Beck writes “an odd disturbance coursed through Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, a tremor that bounced from section to section and made the Knicks stop and gaze in wonder. Something even more striking is that two months ago, that peculiar sight would not have been possible. The wave would have been cut short by apathy and a wide expanse of empty seats. But the Knicks' modest improvement since mid-December has been accompanied by a surge in ticket sales, and the Garden no longer looks like an abandoned cathedral.”
