Ray Allen Looks To A Wednesday Return

In the BOSTON GLOBE, Marc J. Spears writes "injured Celtics guard Ray Allen is projected to return for Wednesday's Eastern Conference showdown against Detroit at TD Banknorth Garden. Allen missed yesterday's 90-77 victory over the Raptors because of a sore right ankle. It was the second straight game Allen has missed. The six-time All-Star injured the ankle Nov. 24 at Charlotte. Coach Doc Rivers believes Allen will be back in action soon 'He's fine. Ray will practice [tomorrow] and play on Wednesday,' Rivers said. 'I'm pretty sure of that. You never know, but I'm pretty much sure of that."
