NBA TV, we were told, would be saluting the history of professional basketball during "Heritage Week," giving fans a chance to relive memorable moments of teams and players who helped shape the game. That would include Bob Pettit, who went from being an All-America at LSU to an 11-year career with the St. Louis Hawks, highlighted by two MVP awards, and two scoring championships, in 1956 and 1959, and a championship ring in 1958.”
