In the DALLAS MORNING NEWS, David Moore writes “Dirk Nowitzki is about to do something no Mavericks player has done. He's about to do something no European player has done. If he's swept up in the moment, it doesn't show. ‘Just being here is great, whether I'm a starter or not,' Nowitzki said shortly after West coach Mike D'Antoni announced that the forward will start in Sunday's All-Star Game. ‘For me it's not really about the game itself. It's about the weekend, about enjoying stuff, seeing the family some and still having a good game.' ”
