Duncan's Injuries Not Serious; May Miss Few Games

In the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, Jeff McDonald writes "a sprained right ankle will keep Tim Duncan out of Wednesday's game against Southwest Division rival Dallas and possibly more. On a Monday afternoon in which Duncan went under an MRI machine to confirm he had not torn knee ligaments, that qualified as good news for the Spurs. Duncan was injured Sunday while grappling with Portland's James Jones during a 100-79 Spurs victory. Almost immediately, team trainers diagnosed Duncan with an ankle sprain and right knee contusion but pronounced his ligaments sound.”
