In the NEW YORK POST, Fred Kerber writes, "That was the Nets' policy regarding Jason Kidd - yes, he is still a Net, although a hurting one. Kidd has been playing with a cracked rib, the team confirmed yesterday. The rib injury was uncovered, the team said, when doctors were examining the lower back strain that kept Kidd out of two games before the All-Star break and the All-Star Game itself."
