In the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, Julian Garcia writes "Vince Carter will have an MRI on his sprained right ankle today and it's doubtful that the All-Star guard will play in tonight's home game against the Hornets. Carter was injured late in the third quarter of Saturday night's 112-101 loss to the Celtics at the Meadowlands. He received treatment yesterday and team president Rod Thorn said it doesn't appear that there's any structural damage.' But the Nets have scheduled the MRI just to be sure."
