The Boston Celtics announced today that forward James Posey is experiencing low back spasms as a result of a lumbar disc herniation confirmed by MRI today at New England Baptist Hospital. He is undergoing appropriate treatment by the medical staff and is listed as day-to-day. Posey sustained the injury during the second quarter of last night's game against the Denver Nuggets at the TD Banknorth Garden.
