In THE TIMES PICAYUNE, Jeff Duncan writes "David Stern attended the Spurs opener in San Antonio on Tuesday night and about 16 hours later stood in front of a packed crowd at a press conference in the gym at Walter Cohen High School to announce the league's unprecedented season-long, leaguewide commitment to New Orleans and its post-Katrina recovery. A few hours later, he stood at center court at the New Orleans Arena to commemorate what team officials are calling ‘one of the greatest comebacks in NBA history,' the full-time return of the Hornets to the city where they relocated to five years ago from Charlotte."
