In the DENVER POST, Chris Dempsey writes "months ago, when Kenyon Martin was mostly by himself while rehabilitating his right knee, he never envisioned being back on the court for the season opener. But Wednesday, playing becomes a reality when the Nuggets open the season at home against the Seattle SuperSonics. And not only will the fiery forward's return to basketball be tangible, it might be as a starter. It has nearly been a calendar year since Martin had season-ending microfracture surgery."
