In the OKLAHOMAN, Darnell Mayberry writes "More than two years after Hurricane Katrina wreaked deadly floodwaters on New Orleans, debris-filled houses still litter entire neighborhoods. Many homes in the city's worst-hit areas retain their distinct door-knob-high water lines and neon-orange paint signaling searches for the living. While many residents have returned to New Orleans, the city's pre-Katrina life has yet to be restored. Ready or not, this is where New Orleans Hornets owner George Shinn soon will learn whether his NBA franchise can stay afloat as his team opens this NBA season Wednesday."
