Orlando's Battie To Miss Season

Magic power forward Tony Battie will miss the season after undergoing successful surgery Wednesday to repair a small tear in the rotator cuff of his left shoulder. Battie, a 6-11, 240-pound 10-year veteran, was injured playing one-on-one against teammate Dwight Howard before training camp began. Battie could take as long as a year to heal and rehab the injury.
