Hoiberg Making Smooth Transition to Front Office

Fred Hoiberg turned 35 last week. Hoiberg is two years removed from having open-heart surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm in his heart, a condition that wasn't discovered until he went for a physical required for a life insurance policy. It ended his playing career and jump-started his transition to management. Hoiberg is now the assistant general manager for the Minnesota Timberwolves and by all accounts a star on the rise in the organization.
