Isiah Thomas admittedly looked into signing free agent Steve Blake, a good ball-distributing guard. Meanwhile, Nate Robinson spent the offseason trying to get his wildly erratic game under control and be more of a defensive-minded player. He proved in the Las Vegas summer league that he could be an effective traditional point guard, albeit against lesser competition."
