Nuggets' Carter to Have Surgery

The Denver Nuggets announced Monday that guard Anthony Carter will undergo surgery on his right hand on Wednesday. During this procedure, he will have screws inserted into his fractured 3rd metacarpal which will stabilize the fracture and expedite the healing process. Carter suffered the injury during practice on Oct. 6.
