Nets Gain Two Starters Without Making A Move

In the NEWARK STAR-LEDGER, Dave D'Alessandro writes as Rod Thorn "delivered his state of the team address yesterday, he tried out the preseason company line: The Nets didn't stand pat. They're adding two starters – namely, Richard Jefferson and Nenad Krstic. ‘I think if Richard is healthy, he'll have a terrific year. He can do things he wasn't very good at last year, so that makes a big difference,' Thorn said of his small forward, who missed one-third of the 2006-07 season after his sore right ankle was repaired. ‘And (Krstic) is 90 to 95 percent. Doctors are very happy with him."
