Last spring, Knicks center Randolph Morris was the talk of the basketball world, when he entered the NBA just days after playing for Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament. Because he had already been through one NBA Draft, Morris didn't have to re-enter in 2007, when he surely would have been a first-round pick. As a result, the Knicks were able to sign him as a free agent, and his choice of New York over every other NBA team spoke volumes about where he felt the team is heading.
