In USA TODAY, "with Dirk Nowitzki struggling, his teammates stepped up Wednesday to lead Germany over Italy 67-58 and into the quarterfinals of the European Basketball Championship. Nowitzki still led the team by scoring 15 points, the same as power forward Johannes Herber, but the rest of the team excelled by shooting 8-of-9 from the field in the third quarter. Marco Belinelli led Italy with 25 points."
