Steve Bulpett of the BOSTON HERALD writes, "But the most interesting aspect of Ainge's response is that the Celtics are prepared to go to battle with a second-year point guard at the helm. And behind Rajon Rondo there is nothing but 'a lot of guys who can play there.' Having gathered a gaggle of talent, Ainge must now make sure that the ball can be delivered to Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. At times during his rookie year, Rondo did this well, making on-time deliveries. But there were many occasions when Rondo failed to make the proper connection."
