PAUL PIONEER PRESS, Rick Alonzo writes “Timberwolves forward Mark Madsen had successful surgery Friday to repair his right shoulder and pectoral muscle, and he is expected to be out three months. The injury occurred when Madsen had an accident on a jet ski last Monday. Madsen is entering his fifth season with the team and is expected to provide depth as a reserve power forward/center.”
