Rick Alonzo of the PIONEER PRESS writes, "Timberwolves forward Mark Madsen had successful surgery today to repair his right shoulder and pectoral muscle, and he is expected to be out three months, the team announced. The injury occurred when Madsen had an accident on a jet ski on Monday, a team spokesman said. 'This was an unfortunate accident that I have put behind me,' Madsen said in a statement.
