The USA TODAY reports, "New Jersey Nets forward Richard Jefferson announced Friday that he's donating $3.5 million to the University of Arizona so his alma mater can build a new multi-sport practice facility. School officials said it's one of the largest individual donations ever to its athletic department. Jefferson's donation is the lead gift toward a planned $20 million basketball and volleyball practice facility project that also includes a diving well and rebuilt area for gymnastics."
