U.N. chief wants to reduce peacekeepers in Liberia

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon recommended on Thursday the more than 14,000 peacekeepers in Liberia be reduced by some 5,000 over the next three years starting in October.
