Heat's Wade, Cook Help Students

Daequan Cook, the HEAT 2007 first round draft pick, made a surprise visit to the Miami Springs Recreation Center Pool to teach the attending students the importance of water safety. Cook, who was joined by Community Affairs Liaison Wali Jones, the Xtreme Team and Burnie, came out to support the HEAT summer-long “Learn to Swim” community water safety campaign, where the HEAT, along with the American Red Cross, visit pool locations throughout Miami -Dade and Broward counties to stress the importance of learning how to swim.
