Nene To Play For Brazil In Olympic Qualifier

In the DENVER POST, “Nuggets forward Nene says he will be able to play for Brazil in the FIBA Americas Championship, an Olympic qualifying tournament in Las Vegas that begins this month. The Nuggets and the Brazilian Basketball Confederation are working on an insurance policy agreement in case Nene is injured in Las Vegas. Nene admitted the insurance contract wasn't finalized, but said Nuggets officials guaranteed he would be allowed to play for Brazil.”
