Gardner writes “Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd is seeing the results of the U.S. program first-hand, as part of the team preparing for the FIBA Americas Tournament later this month in Las Vegas. The United States is expected to claim one of the top two spots in the tournament and with it, a berth in the Beijing Olympics. That swagger might be returning with the addition of four key players who were unavailable for the World Championship a year ago: Kobe Bryant, Jason Kidd, Chauncey Billups and Redd.”
