In THE INDIANAPOLIS STAR, Mike Wells writes "the Indiana Pacers will open the 2007-08 NBA season at home for just the second time in eight years, with Washington visiting on Halloween. Former Lawrence North star and No. 1 overall pick Greg Oden makes his lone regular-season visit to Conseco Fieldhouse with the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 9. Oden's high school and college teammate, Mike Conley Jr., the No. 4 pick in the draft, makes his only trip to the Fieldhouse on Jan. 2 with the Memphis Grizzlies."
