Nepal rescue workers resume search for dozens of missing hikers

KATHMANDU (Reuters) - Mountain rescue teams in Nepal resumed their search for dozens of missing climbers on Thursday after unseasonal blizzards and avalanches killed at least 20 people in an area that is a popular trekking route with tourists.The death toll, which included eight foreigners and a group of yak herders, was expected to rise with so many unaccounted for after unseasonal snowstorms brought by the tail end of cyclone Hudhud that struck eastern India last weekend.
