Heat Introduce Smush Parker

In the MIAMI HERALD, Barry Jackson writes “in his Heat introductory news conference Monday, Smush Parker indicated he expects to compete with Jason Williams for the starting point guard job. Asked what the Heat has told him about his role, Parker said, ‘As of right now, we're battling for the starting position -- me and J-Will. Nothing is guaranteed.' Parker added, though, that being given a chance to win a starting job was not a condition of him signing with the Heat.”
