That "catching" pain that cost him half the season, and plagued him all of it, turned out to be a small cartilage tear that he had repaired with arthroscopic surgery June 20 in Vancouver, British Columbia. More than a month after his procedure, Claxton remains cautiously optimistic about his future.”
