Mavericks' Barea to Play for Pan Am Gold

The DALLAS MORNING NEWS reports, "At least one Dallas Maverick will play for a championship this year. Mavs reserve guard J.J. Barea, the star of the Puerto Rican team, scored 25 points and recorded nine assists Saturday to lead Puerto Rico into the gold medal game with an 89-80 victory over Argentina in the Pan American Games semifinals. Puerto Rico will face Brazil, which defeated Uruguay, 85-73, in the other semifinal, for the gold today."
