Krista Jahnke of the DETROIT FREE PRESS writes, "Pistons executives evaluate summer league play with a healthy skepticism. They're not going to jump to many conclusions after watching five games in one week. 'You learn not to get too overly excited or too disappointed,' said John Hammond, vice president of basketball operations. 'You look at it for what it is. But it is still an evaluation period, especially for the rookies.'"
