In the INDIANAPOLIS STAR, Mike Wells reports “the Indiana Pacers took another step in surrounding coach Jim O'Brien with players that fit his system when they agreed to a three-year deal with point guard Travis Diener on Thursday. Diener, who teamed with Dwyane Wade to lead Marquette to the Final Four in 2003, spent the first two years of his career playing sparingly in Orlando. He averaged 3.8 points and 1.0 assists and made 40 percent of his 3-point attempts in 49 career games with the Magic.”
