In THE SEATTLE TIMES, Jayda Evans writes “Storm All-Star Sue Bird missed her fifth consecutive game on Tuesday rehabilitating her left knee, which underwent minor surgery July 6. Bird, the team's starting point guard, is traveling with the team and is expected to return to the starting lineup against Connecticut on Friday. It will be exactly two weeks since she had arthroscopic surgery to remove loose particles and repair a minor meniscus tear in her knee.”
