In the HARTFORD COURANT, "the Celtics exercised a team option on forward Ryan Gomes, who will become a restricted free agent after this season. The 6-foot-7 forward from Waterbury was a second-round pick out of Providence in 2005. He'll make $770,610 this season after averaging 12.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 73 games in 2006-07."
